William H. Naumann and Loren K. Shiu of The Naumann Law Firm represented the owner and developer of three new single-family homes under construction in Encinitas, California. The owner of the project brought an action against the general contractor, Ruckle Construction, Inc. and various subcontractors for failure to perform services as required by the contract. The defects included but were not limited to improper framing installation, improper plumbing installation, improper roofing installation and improper heating ventilation and air conditioning installation, all which led to resultant damage and major construction delays to the project.

Construction of the homes was on-going when The Naumann Law Firm was retained. This was a unique situation, therefore our team acted quickly and efficiently. The client was incurring interest on construction loans and the project had already been substantially delayed. The architectural and structural experts performed investigations, allowing the owner to continue finishing construction with a new general contractor.

Ultimately our firm recovered $1,000,000.00 in damages for our client after multiple mediations sessions.
